Other Events (partly in German)
Apart from the annual German-Japanese symposia that the JSPS Club jointly organizes with the JSPS Bonn Office, the anniversary symposia and the periodical meetings of “Members Invite Members” which are followed by the “Junior Events / Junior Forum” since 2008, the JSPS Club also hosts other events.
F.I.D.ES
For some years, there has been close cooperation with four European Researcher Associations in Japan:
- Association des étudiants et chercheurs francophones en Japan (Sciencescope) from France,
- Association of Italian Researchers in Japan (AIRJ) from Italy,
German JSPS Alumni Association (JSPS Club) from Germany and - Asociación de Científicos Españoles en Japón (Ace Japon) from Spain.
From this, the abbreviation F.I.D.ES was formed, where D stands for Germany and thus for the JSPS Club.
EURAXESS JAPAN
The EURAXESS organization has existed at European level since 2004, while the Japan office has existed under the name EURAXESS Japan since 2008.
