On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the JSPS Club, a second Festschrift was published 2015.
Starting off with several introductory greetings from Japanese Ambassodor Takashi Nakane, German Ambassador Dr. Hans Carl von Werthern, Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) President Dr. Yuichiro Anzai, and German JSPS Alumni Association chairman Prof. Dr. Heinrich Menkhaus, in the following chapters the history of the JSPS Club and German-Japanese scientific endeavors are valued by board members of the JSPS Club and by members of scientific organization in both countries, i.e. Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), German Research Foundation (DFG), the Japan Foundation, and many others.
The next chapters report about cooperations, promotional programs, awards and other activities of the Club. The appendix shows pictures and lists the manifold activities of the JSPS Club over the past 20 years.

On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the JSPS Club, a Festschrift was published 2005.
After several forewords from the President of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Prof. Motoyuki Ono, the President of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Frühwald, and the President of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Prof. Dr. Theodor Berchem, the first JSPS Club chairman Prof. Dr. Uwe Czarnetzki and his acting successor Prof. Dr. Heinrich Menkhaus review history and activities of the JSPS Club.
The main part of the Festschrift ist composed of papers from club members who report on German-Japanese scientific cooperations in their particular department.
The PDF version differs slightly from the printed version because typing errors were amended and links were updated.
